Simon Deurloo

Simon Deurloo is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in water management and local governance, currently serving as a member of the Executive Board and fifth Deputy Water Board at Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht since March 2019. Representing the Labour Party, Simon also holds a position on the General Board of the same water authority, advocating for clean water in the Amstel River. Additional roles include membership on the board of VvE Burmandwarsstraat 45 and active participation in the Labour Party since 1990. Simon has directed Popdat, focusing on enhancing user experiences through technology from December 2015 to October 2023, and has held pioneering responsibilities at Lithion Europe, promoting portable power solutions. Prior experience includes secretarial roles at Stichting CPS Burmandwarsblok and Stichting Elektrisch Varen, as well as financial oversight as treasurer at Tuin Kostverloren. Educational credentials include degrees from Delft University of Technology and Barlaeus gymnasium.
