Michael Bock

Michael Bock is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education and policy analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Watershed Advisors since February 2023, Michael previously held significant roles at the Louisiana Department of Education, including Director of Teaching & Learning Support Services and Early Childhood Accountability Manager. Earlier experience includes positions as a Teacher at Collegiate Academies and FirstLine Schools and a School Operations Manager with Teach For America. Michael's policy experience is highlighted by a role as a Policy Fellow in the Mayor's Office of Chicago and as a Special Project Manager at the Peninsula Community Foundation. Michael began the career as a Youth Planner in the City of Hampton and has held an Executive Internship at State Farm. Academically, Michael holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia.
