Head of Marketing at Watershed

Alexa Schirtzinger is currently the Head of Marketing at Watershed. Prior to joining Watershed, Ms. Schirtzinger served as the Vice President of Product Marketing at Box from October 2020 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for corporate messaging and positioning, product launches, GTM strategy and enablement, analyst relations, competitive intelligence, pricing and packaging, content, and more. Some of their major accomplishments during their time at Box include developing a new narrative, category, and positioning for Box as the Content Cloud; leading a strategic shift in their pricing and packaging approach; creating a new team and workflows to overhaul their approach to product launches; and growing their team.

Before their time at Box, Ms. Schirtzinger served as the Head of G Suite Product Marketing at Google from October 2016 to October 2020. In this role, they led a team of senior product marketers to develop and implement core messaging, positioning, pricing/packaging, and go-to-market strategy. Alexa also defined strategy and drove cross-functional execution for major launches including Google Meet (Apr 2020) and Google Workspace (Oct 2020).

Prior to their time at Google, Ms. Schirtzinger served as the Director of Content & Social Marketing at Salesforce from June 2014 to October 2016.
