Sophie Gatsonides

Sophie Gatsonides is a dedicated professional with a diverse range of experiences in leadership, education, and sports. Currently serving as the Voorzitter at the European Youth Parliament the Netherlands and as a Student Ambassador at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Sophie actively engages with youth and academic communities. With hands-on roles as a flottieljebegeleider/schipper at Portokali and zeilinstructrice at Watersport Academy "De Kaag," Sophie demonstrates a strong commitment to mentorship and skill development. Additionally, Sophie has contributed to academic support as a huiswerkbegeleidster en bijlesdocent at Het Studielokaal, focusing on aiding students in developing study skills and executive functioning. Sophie has also gained significant experience as a coxswain at A.S.R. Nereus. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Sophie combines practical experience with a strong academic foundation.
