David Schwartz

David Schwartz serves as the CEO and Chairman of Waterton since May 1995, where responsibilities include overseeing senior leadership, setting strategic direction, and leading key committees focused on investments and fundraising. Prior to Waterton, David Schwartz held the position of VP Acquisitions at Equity Residential from 1989 to 1995 and worked as Acquisitions Manager at AMLI Residential between 1986 and 1989. David Schwartz earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
