Douglas Olson

Douglas Olson has been working in the wine industry since 2006. Douglas began their career as a Manager/Sommelier at Danny Brown Wine Bar and Kitchen. In 2013, they moved to Corkscrew Wine as a Senior Sales Associate. In 2014, Olson worked as a Sales Representative for Vintage Wine Division at Empire Merchants, and as a Winemaking Team at Paumanok Vineyards. In 2019, they joined the Winemaking Team at Château Angélus. In 2020, Olson worked as a Winemaking Team/Research at DuMOL Winery. Douglas then established their own consulting business, Doug Olson Consulting LLC, in 2021. Currently, they are a Winemaker at Boathouse Vineyards and a Winemaker & Business Development-USA at WATGRID.

Douglas Olson earned a Master of Science degree in Vineyard and Winery Management from Bordeaux Sciences Agro in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Stony Brook University.
