Tania Wegwitz

Tania Wegwitz serves as Vice President of Transportation at WATT Consulting Group since December 2016, co-leading an innovative team focused on transportation projects across Western Canada. Previously, Tania held various leadership roles at BC Transit from 1999 to 2016, including Manager of Planning and Manager of Strategic Planning, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing planning for 54 transit systems and leading the development of long-term Transit Future Plans. Tania's expertise spans integrated transportation planning, transit operations, and public engagement, complemented by consultancy work in transit scheduling. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Victoria and multiple certifications in transit planning and management.
