Pierre Christian

Pierre Christian is a Senior Data Scientist at WattTime.org since August 2023 and previously served as a Climatebase Fellow at Climatebase, where participation in Cohort 3 involved leading a capstone project focused on machine learning applications in soil data for home gardeners. Prior to these roles, Pierre held the position of Assistant Professor of Physics at Fairfield University from January 2021 to August 2023, leading a research group in black hole astrophysics and teaching college-level courses, achieving over 10 publications. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona from 2018 to January 2021, Pierre conducted significant astrophysics research with major contributions to gravity tests using black hole observations. Pierre completed a PhD in Astrophysics at Harvard University, where research resulted in several first-author publications, following an academic trajectory that included research positions and degrees from prestigious institutions like UC Berkeley.
