Alexa Ratkowski

Alexa Ratkowski is a dedicated educator with a robust background in special education and early childhood teaching. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher for Wauwatosa School District since January 2023, Alexa previously held the position of 4K Head Start Teacher at Milwaukee Public Schools from July 2021 to July 2023. With experience as a Camp Counselor for the Hales Corners Recreational Department and various roles in customer service, including a Food Service Worker at Crossroads Pizza & Subs, Alexa has developed strong interpersonal skills. Alexa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where notable contributions were made as a Desk Worker for Project Success and a member of the Hype Herd for the Wisconsin Herd. Early work experience also includes a role as a Brew Crew Member for the Milwaukee Brewers.
