Amber Taufen has over 10 years of experience in various roles related to content creation, editing, and management. Amber is currently working at WAV Group as a Content Director, where they oversee the creation of content to generate leads for consulting initiatives and manages SEO strategy. Previously, they owned and operated Polished Copy, specializing in content systems for fintech and proptech startups, and worked as a Contributing Writer, Assistant Editor, and Assistant Calendar Editor for DENVER WESTWORD. Amber also has experience as a Managing Editor at HomeLight, where they oversaw the production of high-value homebuyer content, and as a Senior Writer at HouseCanary, where they worked on sales and marketing needs and created technical briefs and guides. At Inman News, they served as a Senior Writer, Editor in Chief, and Contributions Editor, managing the editorial department and implementing process improvements. Additionally, they worked as a Contributing Writer for Summit Media and as an Assistant Editor for MGMA.

Amber Taufen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. Amber then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the same university, completing it in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Minor in Women & Gender Studies during their undergraduate education.
