Chelley Casey

Chelley Casey has extensive experience in patient advocacy, having worked in various roles at Biogen Idec, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and currently at Wave Life Sciences. Chelley has led teams in developing programs and strategies to support the patient community, represented patient voices within organizations, and built strong relationships with advocacy groups. Their roles have included Vice President of Patient Advocacy at Wave Life Sciences, Chief of Staff, Senior Director, and Associate Director in patient advocacy and services at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and various roles in product management at Biogen Idec. Throughout their career, Chelley has demonstrated a commitment to improving patient experiences and outcomes in the healthcare industry.

Chelley Casey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Elmira College in the years 1996 to 2000. Chelley further pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from Boston University from 2004 to 2005. Lastly, they completed a Project Management Professional certificate program from Boston University in 2007.
