Director Biology at WAVE Life Sciences

Elizabeth Wagner has a diverse work experience starting from 2005 to present. Elizabeth began their career as a Cooperative Education Student at GlaxoSmithKline in 2005, where they focused on Cellular Pathology and Safety Assessment Research. In 2007, they transitioned to a Scientist role in the Department of Cancer Epigenetics at GlaxoSmithKline, where they stayed until 2010. Elizabeth then pursued a Cell and Molecular Biology graduate program at the University of Chicago, completing their research in 2016. Following this, they joined the Advanced Imaging Center at the HHMI's Janelia Research Facility in 2015 as an Invited Researcher. Their most recent role has been at Wave Life Sciences, where they have progressed from Scientist I-CNS Biology in 2017 to their current position as Director Biology.

Elizabeth Wagner earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University in 2007. Elizabeth later completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Chicago in 2016.
