Prashant Monian

Prashant Monian, PhD, has a strong background in biomedical sciences with experience working in various research positions. At Wave Life Sciences, Prashant led a pre-clinical discovery program for a treatment of alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, focusing on RNA editing therapy. Prior to this, Prashant worked at IQVIA as an Associate Consultant, and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Graduate Research Assistant. Prashant also co-founded a mock biotech startup during a business course at Weill Cornell Medical College. Prashant's education includes a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School and a BS in Microbiology and Cell Biology from The University of Georgia.
