Htin Hlaing

Htin Hlaing has held various roles throughout their work experience. Htin currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Wave Money since September 2020. Before that, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer for Ascend Corporation from September 2017 to September 2020. From 2015 to 2017, Htin Hlaing was the VP of Engineering at Metabiota, and prior to that, they served as VP of Engineering at SugarSync from 2013 to 2015. Htin also held positions such as Senior Director of Engineering at Flurry, Inc. in 2013 and VP of Engineering at Attributor from December 2012 to May 2013. Htin Hlaing started their career at Syndeo as a Senior Software Engineer in 1999 and has since worked in various engineering and management roles at different companies, including Vernier Networks and Attributor.

Htin Hlaing completed their M.S. in Software Management at Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their B.S. in ICS from UC Irvine between 1992 and 1996. Htin attended the Canadian Overseas Secondary School from 1989 to 1991 for their high school education. Htin Hlaing also attended Dagon 1 for a brief period in 1986 for their high school education.
