Andy Roberts

Director of RF Engineering at Waveform

Andy Roberts has a long and varied work experience beginning with their role as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA in 2007. Andy then moved on to a Sales Professional role at Wine Warehouse in 2008. In 2009, they became a Student at North Carolina State University. In 2011, they were an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Longent, and in 2014, they became an Electrical Engineer at Ultra Electronics - 3Phoenix, Inc., where they were a major contributor for the MK710 torpedo test set. In this role, they spec'd parts, created schematics, designed cables, coordinated with vendors over availability and lead times, and presented at CDR. In 2015, they returned to Longent as an RF Engineer and then, in 2022, they became the Director of RF Engineering at Waveform.com/RSRF.

Andy Roberts attended North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned an Electrical Engineering degree with a focus in Digital Signals Processing (DSP). Prior to that, they attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a BA in Music.
