Zack Sheppard has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Zack started their career as a Support Technician at Data Management Inc., assisting customers with computer and network issues. Afterward, Zack transitioned to become a Software Engineer at the same company, where they focused on presentation development and user experience for web and client/server applications. Zack also facilitated automated testing for newly developed applications.
In 2012, Zack worked as a Software Engineer at RED Method, where they developed .NET websites using MVC technology and handled server-side and presentation development.
Zack later joined AppHustle in 2013 as a Software Engineer, before moving on to W2O Group, where they held the same position.
In 2014, Zack worked as a Software Engineer at TimeClock Plus, where they were responsible for modifying the application's interface based on provided specifications.
Zack'smost recent position was at Portalarium in 2014, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Designer, primarily focusing on programming and designing various systems for Richard Garriott's MMO, Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues. This involved working on systems such as crafting, resource gathering, loot, item effects, dye, and maps. Zack also wrote gameplay logic for levels with synchronized scenarios in multiplayer mode.
Zack's current position is as a Staff Engineer at Wave, where they have been working since November 2018.
Zack Sheppard attended Central High School from 2002 to 2007. After high school, they pursued a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) at Howard College from 2007 to 2010. Later on, they enrolled at Austin Community College from 2012 to 2014, specializing in Game and Visualization Programming. In this program, they focused on enhancing their computer games and programming skills.
