Jason S. Read

Jason S. Read is an experienced professional who has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2016, they served as the Director of Store Operations at Wawa, Inc. Jason S. then went on to become a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair at the New Jersey Food Council in 2018. That same year, they also became a Member of the Board of Directors at The Wawa Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on charitable giving. In 2018, they joined Winsight, LLC as a Member of the Operator Advisory Council. In 2017, Jason became an Advisory Board Member at Rutgers University. Prior to that, they worked at Starbucks for several years, starting as a Territory Manager and progressing to the role of Regional Director of Operations. Jason S. also held positions as a Field Implementation Manager, District Manager for Company Operated Stores, District Manager for Licensed Stores at Starbucks. Before their time at Starbucks, Jason was a Manager at Eatzi's Market and Bakery.

Jason S. Read earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and International Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In 2016-2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution. Jason also completed a Certificate in Human Resources Management and a Certificate in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, both from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, they obtained a Serve Safe Food Safety Certification from SERVESAFE LTD in August 2018.
