Gil Kogan

Gil Kogan has extensive experience in engineering and data science, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Wayflyer since June 2022 and previously as Team Lead at Tractable from March 2021 to June 2022. Notable roles include Engineering Manager at OakNorth and CTO at Compass News, where Gil contributed to the development of a mobile news app and served as the sole data scientist. Additional experience includes data-driven roles at Royal Mail and CrowdEmotion, where Gil led efforts to optimize data processing and analytics. Gil holds a PhD in High Energy Physics and an MSci in Physics, both from Imperial College London. Current responsibilities also encompass a significant personal commitment as a Senior Father at Parenthood, which focuses on managing challenges within a demanding environment.
