Siddharth Swaminathan

Siddharth Swaminathan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Systems. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Waymo since June 2024, Siddharth previously held positions at Apple from May 2016 to May 2024, including Planning Team Lead and Engineering Manager in Autonomous Decision Making. Prior to that, Siddharth was a Senior Vehicle Intelligence Engineer for Autonomous Driving at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. and a Graduate Research Assistant at The Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Siddharth's early career included roles as a Summer Trainee at ITC Limited and a Research Intern at GE. Siddharth earned a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
