Van Nguy

Van Nguy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, product management, legal operations, trade, artificial intelligence, privacy, and security. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and previously as Assistant General Counsel at Waymo since 2017, Van has been recognized multiple times as a Managing IP Corporate Star and listed in the IAM Strategy 300 and the National Law Journal IP Trailblazer. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Counsel at Google andSenior Patent Counsel at IBM, among others. Education includes a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law, a BA in Physics from Pomona College, and ongoing professional development at Harvard Extension School.
