Delorean Holmes

Delorean Holmes serves as the Economic Vitality Director at Wayne County Economic Development since December 2023. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Delorean has been a Team Chief in the United States Army Reserve since May 2014, overseeing Civil Affairs operations. Prior positions include Director of Development - West Region for the City of Detroit from March 2022 to December 2023, as well as various roles at the Detroit Wayne County Port Authority, including Interim Deputy Director and Deputy Director from August 2017 to March 2022. Delorean also worked as Chief Of Staff for State Senator Ian Conyers and as Economic Growth Manager at the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority from August 2014 to November 2016, focusing on community development initiatives. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from Wayne State University.
