Khalil Refai has extensive experience in public service and law enforcement. Currently serving on the City Council for the City of Hamtramck since November 2021, Khalil also holds the position of Operations Manager at Louis Brothers Logistics since November 2019. Additionally, Khalil has been a Deputy Sheriff Chaplain with the Wayne County Sheriff Office since August 2014 and a Police Chaplain for the City of Hamtramck Police since February 2012. Khalil's educational background includes studies in Criminal Justice/Police at Schoolcraft College from 2014 to 2015 and attendance at Wayne County Community College District from 2008 to 2011.
