Cindy Peters

Cindy Peters has a robust background in finance and administration within the academic and research sectors, currently serving as the Administrative Manager in the Department of Pharmacology at Wayne State University since 2019. With a tenure at Wayne State University beginning in 2001, Cindy has held key roles including Finance Manager for the Perinatology Research Branch under NIH/NICHD since 2014, managing the financial oversight of significant contracts totaling $165 million and the $11.95 million Perinatal Initiative budget. Prior experience includes serving as Grant and Contract Manager in the Department of OB/GYN from 2008 to 2014, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive pre and post award management of grants and contracts.
