Bob Spunt

Bob Spunt has extensive experience in data science and research. Bob currently holds a position as Senior Data Scientist at Adobe and previously held the role of Principal Data Scientist at Oracle. Bob also has experience in the energy industry as Chief Operating Officer at Wayside Energy. Bob'sresearch background includes roles as Postdoctoral Scientist in the Social and Affective Neuroscience Lab at UCLA and Research Consultant as well as Postdoctoral Scientist in the Emotion and Social Cognition Lab at Caltech. Bob'sresearch focused on the neurocognitive mechanisms responsible for individual variability in social behavior and the psychology and neuroscience of emotion. Bob gained expertise in developing valid measures of emotional experience and examining the relationship between negative emotional experience and performance errors.

Bob Spunt received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. From 2005 to 2011, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Social Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at UCLA.
