Dan McCloskey

Dan McCloskey is currently the VP of Hardware at Wayve. Dan has previously worked as the Head of Hardware at Nuro, where they developed and scaled autonomous vehicles to address goods delivery. Prior to that, Dan was a Principal Engineer and Radar Team Lead at Waymo, where they led a multi-disciplined team in developing advanced radars for Level 4 autonomous vehicles. Dan has also worked as a Senior Staff/Principal RF Hardware Engineer on the Self-Driving Car team at Google, where they helped assemble the team, develop the product roadmap, design the hardware platforms, set up production and test infrastructure, and deploy hundreds of sensors to the current fleets.

They work with Carolin Fleissner - VP, People & Culture, Kaity Fischer - Director, Business Development and Partnerships, and Jamie Shotton - Chief Scientist. Dan McCloskey reports to Alex Kendall, Co-Founder & CEO.
