Jamie Shotton

Jamie Shotton is the current Chief Scientist at Wayve. Jamie was previously with Microsoft from June 2008 to September 2021, where they were the Partner Director of Science. There, they were responsible for fundamental research in computer science, publishing and presenting academic papers, filing patents, and transferring research into Microsoft products. Prior to that, they were with Toshiba from March 2007 to May 2008 as a Toshiba Fellow.

Jamie Shotton received their PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Cambridge. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts in Computer Science also from the University of Cambridge.

They are on a team with Haibo E. - Director of Product, Sarah Gates - Head of Public Policy, and Carolin Fleissner - VP, People & Culture. Their manager is Alex Kendall, Co-Founder & CEO.
