Marco Maida is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in automotive software and game development. Currently at Wayve, Marco is involved in the development of on-board software for self-driving cars using ROS2, C++, and Rust. Previously, at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, Marco focused on real-time schedulability theory and was a core maintainer of the Prosa library. Experience includes a role at Bloomberg LP as a Research and Development Engineer, where Marco developed GPU-based methods for solving SAT formulae. Earlier positions involved game development at 34BigThings srl, creating multiplatform games and a framework for Razer's Chroma SDK, as well as developing educational software for Maserati and strategic games. Marco holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor's degree from Università degli Studi di Torino.
