Saurabh Nair

Saurabh Nair is an experienced applied scientist currently working at Wayve since September 2022, focusing on foundation models for embodied AI. Prior to this role, Saurabh was a deep learning research engineer at Giant.AI, where exploration of various efficient neural radiance fields occurred. Saurabh's earlier experience includes serving as a robotics engineer at Vicarious AI, specializing in object placement and robot behaviors, as well as a research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, working on multiple object tracking for autonomous driving. Saurabh also interned at Magic Leap, where vision-guided camera calibration projects were developed, and worked at Cisco as a software engineer, contributing to the development of ASR1000 enterprise routers. Saurabh began an academic journey in robotics systems development with a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
