Stacey Wright Woodward

Stacey Wright Woodward has a diverse and extensive work experience in the broadcast industry. Stacey worked for WBAL-TV11, Inc. as an Assistant News Director, where they led the morning team through a format change and instituted a monthly production meeting to ensure smooth execution of format changes. Stacey also served as an Executive Producer, overseeing various aspects of the morning newscast. Prior to that, Stacey worked as a Newscast Producer, producing weekend and Olympic coverage.

Before joining WBAL-TV11, Inc., Stacey worked for KCRA as a Special Projects Producer. In this role, they researched and produced Call 3 stories, organized Olympic coverage, and contributed to the creation of an Olympic show that became a model for all Hearst stations.

Stacey's earlier experience includes working as an Assignment Editor at KTNV-TV, where they selected stories for coverage and coordinated breaking news and special events. Stacey also worked as a Freelance Writer and Assignment Editor at WJZ-TV, where they handled assignment desk duties and wrote various story assignments for the newscasts.

Stacey Wright Woodward earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism/Political Science from Syracuse University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Stacey obtained a certification in the Hearst Leadership Development Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in February 2021.
