Heather Waliga

Heather Waliga is an experienced journalist and television anchor with a robust career spanning over 15 years in the broadcast industry. Currently serving as the Morning Anchor at WBIR-TV, LLC since March 2018, Heather has previously held roles as an Anchor/Reporter at ABC11 Eyewitness News - WTVD from February 2013 to February 2018, and as an Evening Anchor and Anchor/Reporter at Time Warner Cable from March 2008 to January 2013. Beginning a professional journey at WJHG-TV as an Anchor/Reporter from September 2006 to March 2008, Heather's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, following graduation from Karns High School.
