Alek Lashomb

Alek LaShomb has a diverse work experience. They most recently worked as the Plattsburgh Bureau Chief at WCAX-TV from July 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Multimedia Journalist at KIMT-TV from June 2021 to June 2023. In 2022, Alek worked as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany. They also gained experience as a News Editor and News Writer at The Winonan from August 2020 to May 2021. Additionally, Alek worked as a Security Guard at Advanced Private Investigations from March 2020 to May 2021 and as an Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau in August to September 2020. They also interned as a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project from June to September 2020.

Alek LaShomb completed their high school education at Roseville Area Senior High School between 2011 and 2015, earning a High School Diploma. They then pursued further education at Winona State University from 2019 to 2021, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government.
