Deborah MacPherson

Mrs. MacPherson is the Director of Specifications for WDG Architecture, in both the Washington, DC and Dallas, Texas offices. Her responsibilities include writing technical specifications, organizing project information, researching materials and site specific performance requirements. She reviews drawing terminology, keynotes, and assembly details, coordinates all phases of Construction Documents and other deliverables for WDG’s construction projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. Mrs. MacPherson writes door hardware, works with security consultants, helps ensure compliance with local jurisdictions, and coordinates consultants specifications. She is passionate about details and materials, enhancing the benefits of BIM-driven design, and clear performance requirements.
