August Dannehl

August Dannehl has over 15 years of experience in the media industry. In 2004, they served as a Reactor Electrician for the US Navy. In 2010, they wrote, acted and produced a theater piece based on true stories of recently returned veterans. From 2012-2013, they worked as a Video Editor/Dev PA for Verizon Television, a 1st Assistant Director for Gruve Digital Productions, a Freelance Production Assistant for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, a Production Coordinator and Editor for Luminada Films, and a Producer and Instructor for Stonestreet Studios Inc. From 2014-2019, they held the roles of Senior Producer, Head of Production & Creative Director, and Head of Production for We Are The Mighty. August currently serves as Head of Production for Gig Line Media.

August Dannehl attended New York University from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Television. Prior to that, they attended Columbia University from 2010 to 2011, studying Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
