Tessa Robinson has worked in the media and military services industry since 2008. Tessa began their career as a freelance writer, authoring the Deployment Diary series for The New York Times and being featured in other publications such as the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, SheKnows, military.com, and Military Families Magazine. In 2009, they became a consultant for Connect Consulting Services, helping businesses protect their most important assets. In 2010, they took on the role of Project Manager for the US Federal Government. In 2016, they founded Humans on the Homefront, a platform for telling the stories of the brave men and women who serve our nation. Tessa also became the Managing Editor for Military.com's SpouseBuzz and a Political Correspondent for NextGen MilSpouse. In 2018, they became the Editor for MilitaryOneClick, and in 2019 they became the Editor In Chief for We Are The Mighty, the Editor for Spouse & Family at Military.com, and the Editor for Branded Content at Task & Purpose.
Tessa Robinson completed their B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University in 2004. Tessa then went on to pursue a Masters in National Security from American Military University which they completed in 2011. In 2008, they attended Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education: Leadership in Crises.
