Julian Welsh

Julian Welsh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and project management. Since November 2015, Julian has held multiple roles at We The Curious, including Special Projects Producer, Education Programme Innovator, Programme Developer, Education Manager, and Education Officer. Additionally, Julian has contributed to Forest School Camps as a volunteer staff member and former Vice-Chair and Acting Chair, fostering outdoor learning experiences for children. From 2013 to 2020, Julian served as the Director of Alpha Bicycle Company Ltd., focusing on children's bicycle design and global market research. Previously, Julian worked as a KS2 Class Teacher, emphasizing science, math, ICT, and environmental education from 1999 to 2013. Julian's educational background includes a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Leeds with a specialization in Science and Environmental Studies, a BSc in Environmental Quality and Resource Management from the University of the West of England, and an Art and Design Foundation Course in Photography.
