Jonathan Woodhouse has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jonathan began their career as a Venue Expert at Hire Space, where they helped corporate clients find suitable venues for their events. From there, they joined Cineworld Cinemas Ltd as a National Sales Manager, overseeing a team and managing the sale of Cineworld screens for private hires. During their time there, Cineworld achieved record sales figures and received the Hire Space Award for "Best All-Round Use of Technology."
Jonathan then worked at ExCeL London as a Technology Solutions Manager, developing the venue's technology sales strategy and generating new business opportunities. Jonathan also assisted with ExCeL London's esports and gaming strategy.
Afterwards, Jonathan joined SUPPER London, where they initially worked in customer services, handling customer and restaurant communications, as well as assisting with platform development. Jonathan later became a Sales Account Manager, responsible for driving sales and managing key restaurant partners.
Jonathan then moved to JJ Media Group as a Location Account Handler, working with clients to find perfect locations for their photoshoots and filming projects.
Jonathan subsequently joined Film Locations as a Business Development Manager, overseeing the product development of the platform and leading the overall business strategy. Under their leadership, the platform successfully launched its third iteration and achieved a significant increase in revenue.
Following this, they became a Product Manager at location:live, leading the development of the UK's first platform for booking experiential space. Jonathan managed a team of developers, formulated the product strategy, and oversaw major releases and a platform redesign project.
Jonathan then joined Unlocked as a Digital Product Manager, where they led the development of their digital proposition, set product strategy, managed the product release, and conducted user research.
Most recently, they joined isla as a Sales & Digital Product Strategist, working towards accelerating the event industry's transition to a sustainable future. In this role, they provide guidance and support on environmental issues to agencies, brands, organizers, and suppliers.
Throughout their career, Jonathan has demonstrated strategic thinking, product management expertise, and a track record of driving sales and revenue growth. Jonathan is experienced in collaborating with teams, managing projects, and understanding business requirements and user needs.
Jonathan Woodhouse completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama & Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they achieved with a 2:1 grade, from 2006 to 2009. Jonathan then pursued further education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Theatre (Directing) from 2009 to 2011. More recently, from 2022 to 2024, Jonathan enrolled at Cambridge Spark to complete a L4 Digital Business Analyst Apprenticeship, focusing on the field of study of digital business analysis.
