Rhiannon Johnson

Rhiannon Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Most recently, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the American Ethical Union in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at PDI from 2019 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Director of Laboratory Science & Services and Senior Manager of Laboratory Services. Before PDI, Rhiannon worked at Living Proof, Inc. from 2010 to 2019, holding positions such as Senior Manager of Analytical & Quality Assurance and Research Associate. Additionally, they worked at Merck & Co., Inc. as a Staff Chemist from 2008 to 2010, and at PPD as an Associate Scientist from 2007 to 2008. Rhiannon's earlier experiences include serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin in 2006 and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the College of Charleston in 2005. Rhiannon also worked as a Lab Assistant at the USDA ARS Vegetable Lab in 2005 and held multiple positions at the College of Charleston between 2003 and 2005. In 2001, Rhiannon worked as a Research Intern at Clemson University.

Rhiannon Johnson has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry and forensics. Rhiannon earned a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Forensic Science with a concentration in Forensic Chemistry from the Boston University School of Medicine in the years 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2007. Rhiannon started their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the College of Charleston between 2002 and 2006. Rhiannon also holds a high school diploma from the Governor's School for Science and Math that they obtained in the years 2000 to 2002. In addition to their degrees, Rhiannon has obtained several certifications, including a Hazardous Materials Transportation Certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation in July 2019, a Certified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2016, and an MA Wastewater Treatment Operator, Grade 2-I certification from the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) in December 2016.
