Kewei Li

Kewei Li has worked in the UX design field since 2006. Kewei began their career as a Senior Design Researcher for Li-Ning (China) Sports Goods Co. Ltd. in 2006. In 2012, they moved to Lenovo as an Advisory User Experience Researcher. In 2017, they began their current role as Lead UX Designer at WeatherBug. Kewei has also held the roles of Senior UX Designer and UX Designer, where they collaborated with PM, SW engineers, QA, marketing, sales, and other design forces on all design-related projects for WeatherBug users. Kewei'sresponsibilities included leading design for all products and features across operating systems and devices, creating design strategy and design library to improve mobile and website experience continuously, analyzing user feedback and reviews to create user segmentation and uncover the opportunity for business and user experience, and evaluating, testing and introducing Figma to streamline the new product development process and design management.

Kewei Li obtained a Bachelor degree from Beijing Institute of Technology in Industrial and Product Design from 1999 to 2003. Kewei then went on to obtain a Master of Arts - MA from Tsinghua University in Industrial and Product Design from 2003 to 2006. In 2016, they completed a Master of Digital Media from Simon Fraser University in Digital Media. In 2014, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – Level II from Lenovo. In 2016, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
