Amanda Furr

Amanda Furr is an experienced social studies teacher at WISD, having taught various courses such as 6th grade World Cultures and 7th grade Texas History. Amanda holds certifications in Generalist 4-8 and Gifted and Talented, as well as an iSchool Certificate for Technology. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, Amanda has received recognition for their work, including the Teacher Heart Award in 2015-2016. Prior to teaching, Amanda worked as an Allocation Analyst at Pier 1 Imports and as a Field Marketing Representative at Shurgard Self-Storage. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
