Stuart Murphy

Stuart Murphy has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Stuart is currently serving as the Vice President of Service Excellence at Weatherford, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Baker Hughes, where they held various executive positions. These roles included being the Global Commercial, Sales, and Marketing Executive for the Pressure Pumping division, Vice President of Coiled Tubing Product Line, Vice President of Integration Lead for Coiled Tubing and Production Enhancement, and Director of Reliability & Service Delivery for Pressure Pumping. Stuart also served as the Vice President of Pressure Pumping Operations in the East US, overseeing PnL and operations management. Before joining Baker Hughes, they held multiple positions at BJ Services, including Operations Director for Coiled Tubing in the US Land, Fracturing Operations Manager, UK Well Services Manager, and other engineering roles. Stuart Murphy's work experience spans various areas of the oil and gas industry, with a focus on operations, commercial leadership, and strategy.

Stuart Murphy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 1989 to 1994. In 1996, they obtained a Professional Engineer Diploma from APEGA. Stuart later pursued the Global Leadership Program, a customized eMBA, at Duke University from 2014 to 2015. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise" from LinkedIn in 2020 and the "National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety" from the National Education Board in Occupational Health and Safety in 2002.
