Lauryn Gordon is a dedicated advocate with extensive experience in providing support and resources to individuals in crisis. Currently serving as an Advocate at WEAVE since July 2022, Lauryn offers crisis intervention and information to callers on a 24-hour Support and Information Line. Prior to this role, Lauryn was a Program Assistant at Project Optimism, Inc., facilitating programs for students and supporting the executive team with administrative tasks. Experience as a Patient Rights Advocate at Consumers Self Help involved educating patients and their families about legal rights within mental health facilities. As a Safe House Advocate at Stand Up Placer, Inc., Lauryn focused on team collaboration to meet goals and maintain organized records. Lauryn holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Fresno, and an Associate of Arts in Social Science from Sierra College.
