Elissa Goldner has over seven years of professional work experience. In 2019, they began working at WeaveGrid as the Head of Applications Engineering and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at OhmConnect from 2016-2019. In this role, they built and managed utility customer data access pipelines, working directly with utility partners to implement OAuth processes for over 200k customers. From 2014-2016, they worked at Silver Spring Networks as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a multi-threaded, high performance data ingestion and transformation engine using Flask based microservices in an auto-scaling environment. Elissa also implemented rate calculation and interval data handling functionality for GreenDB. Additionally, they were an Instructor at Data Science Dojo from 2014-2016, where they hosted hands-on training sessions for various Microsoft Big Data and data science products. In 2014, they were also a Product Engineering Intern at Silver Spring Networks. From 2012-2014, they were a Teaching Assistant and Grader at Carnegie Mellon University, where they assisted professors with grading of assignments and exams, as well as assisted students with comprehension of mathematical concepts and problems. Finally, in 2012, they were an Intern at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., where they assisted professional engineers and geologists with completion of cost estimates, reports, and project development research.
Elissa Goldner received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2013, having attended from 2009. Elissa then went on to Stanford University, where they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in the Atmosphere/Energy Program in Civil & Environmental Engineering in 2014.
