Femke Plantinga

Hey there! I'm Femke, Developer Growth Manager at Weaviate. I've been part of the team for over two years, starting in marketing but now fully diving into developer growth. My focus is on creating fun and engaging tech content for Weaviate's socials and my personal channels. I originally studied Fashion and Branding at AMFI - Amsterdam Fashion Institute, so jumping into the world of developers has been an exciting learning curve for me, but I’m loving it!

I'm picking up technical skills by working with our awesome team and creating content along the way. I also help with the "manager things" – hiring, team development, and all that fun stuff.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me cycling (I’ve done some fun bike trips across Europe), yoga, playing beach volleyball every weekend here in Barcelona, hiking, or at the gym. When I’m feeling "less active", I love to read, sketch or paint street scenes, and I’m a beginner crocheter!
