Harrison Chien has extensive experience in sales and marketing roles, primarily in the manufacturing industry. Harrison started their career as a Territory Manager at General Mills in 1991 and later worked as a Senior Account Executive at Avery Dennison. In 1996, they became a Global Market Manager at Diagraph Corporation.
In 2000, Chien joined Sony Corporation of America as a Director of Sales and Marketing, where they managed a network of over 100 distributors in North and South America. Harrison also played a role in establishing the company's office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
From 2003 to 2012, Chien served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing/GM at U.S. Tape and Label, where they achieved consistent top-line sales growth through effective leadership and the purchase of a new digital press.
Chien subsequently held various Vice President roles in companies such as Sev-Rend Corporation, RotoMetrics, Magnesium Elektron, and FLEXcon. In these positions, they drove growth in multiple regions and developed strategies for sales, marketing, and branding. Harrison also introduced new sales processes and initiatives to achieve revenue growth.
Currently, Chien is the Vice President of Sales/Marketing and Customer Service at Weber Packaging Solutions, Inc., where they oversee these departments and contributes to the company's overall growth.
Harrison Chien began their education at Lake Oswego High School from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Harrison then attended the University of Oregon from 1985 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Administration. In 1989 to 1990, they pursued further studies at Chien-Tan Academy in Taipei, Taiwan, where they achieved a Certificate in International/Global Studies. Later in 2019, Harrison Chien attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a short period, receiving a Certificate in Executive Negotiations.
