Kelley Bode

Kelley Bode has a diverse work experience in the fields of advertising and copywriting. Their most recent position is as an Associate Creative Director at Weber Shandwick, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Copywriter at Cactus starting in December 2021. Before that, they had a brief stint as a Senior Copywriter at Madwell from October 2021 to December 2021. Kelley also worked as a Copywriter at Madwell from June 2019 to October 2021. In 2016, Kelley worked as a Copywriter at Capital One from August 2016 to August 2017. Kelley also worked as a Freelance Copywriter for ATA.vote, HelpAmerica.me, and ShopRVA.com from August 2016 to February 2017 and for Upwork from June 2015 to August 2016. Kelley's earlier experience includes working as an Advertising Manager at Colonial Ford Truck Sales, Inc. from May 2013 to August 2015. Kelley was also an Ad Team Copywriter for AAF National Student Advertising Competition while studying at USC from January 2013 to May 2013. Starting their career, Kelley interned at Post No Bills from August 2012 to December 2012, and at the Hippodrome Theater and Mansion five26 from May 2012 to August 2012, where they gained experience in writing promotional materials, website redesign, media outreach, and marketing opportunities.

Kelley Bode completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina in the years 2009 to 2013. After a break, they pursued further education and earned a Master's of Science in Business degree with a focus on Copywriting from VCU Brandcenter during the years 2017 to 2019. Prior to their Master's degree, they attended the Job Propulsion Lab in the years 2014 to 2015 to enhance their skills in Copywriting.
