Drew Kozmary has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Drew started their career at Marquette University, where they worked as a Research Assistant in the Computing Department. During this time, they resolved problems faced by professors using distance learning classrooms and taught programming courses to students. Drew also founded the department's Cybersecurity Club and gave presentations on privacy and security.
After their time at Marquette University, Drew worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Here, they led the development of an archival website and implemented an archive search engine to improve searchability. Drew also worked as a Web Developer/Research Assistant, revitalizing a cross-platform application and designing a website for storing media items.
Drew then joined T-Mobile as a Software Engineer, where they constructed efficient user interfaces and delivered backend infrastructure for automation tools. Drew later moved to Rover.com as a Software Engineer II, where they designed front-end and back-end infrastructure for Rover products. Drew also expanded the company's observability by integrating metrics into new features.
Currently, Drew is working at Webflow as a Software Engineer, Frontend. Drew is responsible for engineering the frontend infrastructure and React components for various Webflow Enterprise features. Drew also leads sub-projects for new Enterprise features and utilizes metrics to detect user problems and create team dashboards.

Drew Kozmary pursued a high school degree in Creative Writing at the Milwaukee High School of the Arts from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Chicago from 2008 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, Drew went on to earn a Master's Degree in Computing from Marquette University between 2012 and 2014. Drew further continued their academic journey at Marquette University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Sciences from 2014 to 2018.
