Qamir Hussain

Qamir Hussain has an extensive work experience in the software development field. Qamir started as a Parttime Lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Technology - Aungier Street in 2004. In 2011, they were recruited as the Development Lead at Bloxham Stockbrokers, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining a Ruby on Rails based application for fund management. In the same year, they also became the Founder, Lead Software Developer, and Lead Developer at Aveclabs. In 2014, they were Lead Developer at AonInsure. In 2018, they were recruited as a Lead Developer/Consultant at eShopWorld, where they helped to define the technical direction and architecture including developing proofs of concept. Currently, they are the Head of Machine Learning at Webio Ltd since 2020.

Qamir Hussain began their education in 1993, attending Dublin City University where they studied Computer Science and did not receive a degree. In 2001, they were a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, studying Computational Neuroscience. In 1997, they received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Dublin City University.
