Richard Boon

Richard Boon has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Richard is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Webmart since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director from April 2020 to February 2023, where they focused on integrated marketing and sustainable business practices. Before that, Richard worked as the Sales and Marketing Director from October 2018 to April 2020 at Webmart. Richard also held the positions of Client Development Director, Account Director, and Account Manager at the company.

In addition to their roles at Webmart, Richard Boon also served as a Committee Member of the Webmart Charitable Trust, where they helped raise and donate funds for various causes between March 2013 and March 2015. Richard worked as a Consultant from June 2010 to July 2013, and as a Key Account Executive from January 2007 to June 2010, both at Webmart.

Richard Boon also volunteered as the Lead Organiser at The Marketing Academy "INSPIRE" Events from April 2017 to February 2020. These events aimed to support apprenticeships for young people and featured guest speakers from the marketing and leadership fields.

Prior to their time at Webmart and The Marketing Academy, Richard worked as a CSA at Blenheim Palace between 2004 and 2006.

Richard Boon pursued their education by attending The Marlborough School from 2004 to 2006. During their time there, they specialized in Business & Enterprise, studying subjects such as Business, Product Design, I.T, and Physics. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, Richard enrolled in the Institute of Leadership & Management, where they obtained a Level 5 Diploma in Principals of Leadership and Management, focusing on Business Management.
