Peter Schoonheim

Peter Schoonheim is an accomplished professional in the field of medical education and life sciences with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Executive Director for the Medical Education team at WebMD since December 2015, Peter leads initiatives to enhance medical education across Europe. Prior to this role, Peter was the Senior Director of Medical Education at Medscape, focusing on innovative educational programs for healthcare professionals. Peter's previous experience includes heading Business Development for Pharma Solutions at Elsevier, providing consultancy services in life sciences at Hezelburcht, and conducting postdoctoral research at both Leiden University and the University of California San Francisco, after earning a PhD in Molecular Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
