Carson Ure has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carson began their career as a Congressional Page in the United States House of Representatives in 2006. In 2008, they worked as a Research Intern for Crowd Technologies, where they conducted research and created profiles for publicly-traded companies. Ure then interned at the Pentagon in 2011, where they conducted research on the effectiveness of Air Force retention bonuses. Their findings led to the reformulation of the bonus program and saved the Air Force $200 million annually. Ure joined the United States Air Force in 2012 and held various roles, including Project Manager for Force Protection, Program Manager for Air Force Vulnerability Management, and Executive Officer for the AFCENT Air Warfare Center. Carson managed large teams and implemented projects worth millions of dollars, focusing on security and cyber defense. In 2018, Ure worked as a Summer Associate in Technology Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. Carson then transitioned to a role as an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan in 2019. In 2021, Ure joined Kyruus as a Senior Manager in FP&A, then progressed to become the Director of FP&A. Ure subsequently moved to solo.io in 2022 as the Director of FP&A before being promoted to Senior Director of FP&A. Most recently, Ure has become the VP of Finance at WebPT in 2023.
Carson Ure holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Spanish from the United States Air Force Academy from 2008 to 2012. Carson also briefly attended the U.S. House of Representatives Page School in 2006 and 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications such as Series 63, Series 79, and SIE from FINRA in 2019, as well as APDP Program Management (Level 2) from the Defense Acquisition University in 2015.
